2023 Universal Brotherhood Celebration

In the year 1723 a book was published that laid out the principles and aims of English Freemasonry.  Ideas that included social equality, religious tolerance, self improvement, reward and advancement for merit, charity and goodwill to all.

This year marks the 300th Anniversary of the 1723 Constitutions of the Free-Masons. Those Constitutions enabled the establishment of our fraternity in the colonies and inspired many of the Founding Fathers of our country in launching The Great Experiment in human governance. Our first President, Brother George Washington, put it best in 1791 when he wrote “we are engaged in the last experiment to promote human happiness.”

Accordingly, this year’s Universal Brotherhood Celebration will take place on June 23-24 (Saint John’s Day) with the participation of the Pro Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England and Grand Masters of Grand Lodges of several of our States.

You are cordially invited to attend this tercentenary event commemorating the framework for our beloved Craft.
